A structural steel and fabrication company in the Porto area is hiring 12 MIG and MAG welders on a one year renewable contract. You weld steel to engineering drawings using MIG and MAG processes, read weld symbols and prepare joints, grind, tack and finish welded assemblies, and check your welds for quality, correcting defects as needed.
In the workshop
This is skilled hot work across a 40 hour week with overtime available. It suits welders with real bench experience who can hold quality and follow hot-work safety rules. Pay is €1,350-€1,850/month gross, which reflects the skill and sits well within Portuguese welder rates, with accommodation, meals and PPE provided.
