About this role

A civil engineering firm in the Porto region is recruiting 20 groundworkers on a one year renewable contract. You dig, level and prepare ground and trenches, lay pipes, kerbs and drainage, assist with formwork and concrete pours, and keep excavations safe and properly signed on infrastructure and roadworks projects.

What the days are like
Groundwork is demanding outdoor labour across a 40 hour week, with early starts and PPE required at all times. It fits workers in good physical condition who follow method statements and safety rules carefully. Pay is €1,100-€1,450/month gross, with accommodation, meals and PPE provided.
