About this role

A fish canning factory in Matosinhos, part of Portugal's long standing Atlantic canning tradition, is recruiting 30 line workers on a one year renewable contract. You clean, trim and prepare fish for canning, fill, seal and label cans along the line, sort product by size and quality, and follow strict hygiene rules in a cool, wet processing environment.

Day to day
This is hands-on, repetitive line work across a 40 hour week, with seasonal overtime paid at a premium during peak runs. It fits workers who are comfortable with cold, wet conditions and careful hygiene. Pay is €920-€1,120/month gross, with accommodation, meals and a uniform provided.
