A large logistics hub in Azambuja, north of Lisbon, is hiring 14 forklift operators on a one year renewable contract. You move pallets with a counterbalance or reach truck, load and unload trucks, and feed goods between receiving, storage and dispatch while keeping the bays clear for the next vehicle.
On the floor
This is a three shift operation across a 40 hour week in a high volume distribution centre. If you are not yet certified, you train and certify on a low-level truck within your first month at the company cost. Safety awareness around pedestrians and racking is essential. Pay is €1,050-€1,300/month gross, with accommodation, meals and a uniform included.
