Among the cheapest EU countries — daily expenses run €350-550/month for a single worker. Smaller but visible South Asian and Middle Eastern communities concentrated in Sofia and Plovdiv.

Outdoor work in all weather is normal; PPE is provided and mandatory. This role suits workers in good physical condition, comfortable working outside, and able to follow safety rules carefully — a single mistake on a building site has consequences.
