About this role

A parcel sortation centre in Vila Nova de Gaia, across the river from Porto, is recruiting 24 sorting operatives on a one year renewable contract. You sort parcels by route and destination, load and unload sortation lines and cages, scan and label items for onward delivery, and keep the belt running by clearing jams quickly to meet nightly targets.

Day to day
Much of the volume moves at night, so this is mainly a night shift role across a 40 hour week with a night premium. It is fast, repetitive floor work that suits people who keep a steady pace under time pressure. Pay is €920-€1,120/month gross, with accommodation and meals provided.
