Working in Albania
Albania is an EU candidate country with growing construction, hospitality and agriculture sectors and one of the lowest costs of living in Europe. A work permit and residence permit combination is processed in 4 to 8 weeks via the Albanian consulate or e-Albania portal. Living expenses are very low — €300-450/month covers essentials for a single worker outside Tirana. Migrant-worker communities are still small; many employers provide structured onboarding and language coaching.
What this role looks like day-to-day
A typical shift involves hands-on production work alongside a small team, with clear daily targets set by a line supervisor. Breaks, equipment, uniforms and PPE are provided. This role fits workers who are physically fit, reliable on shift, and willing to learn the local processes during the initial 2-4 week training period.
Who fits and how to apply
Hiring is currently active for 13 workers at €1,350-1,485/month on a 1 year contract. This is an entry-level role — the employer provides paid training during onboarding. On language: Basic English (A2) — language courses available on-site. Contract benefits include accommodation, meals, uniform, employer-provided accommodation, work permit and visa support. CHI Recruiting handles document preparation, employer match, work permit and visa filing — full paid recruitment service with transparent pricing disclosed before you commit.

Basic English (A2) — language courses available on-site
Mediterranean — mild year-round. Worker accommodation is centrally heated. Albania has growing migrant-worker communities, especially in industrial cities. Free time activities, religious facilities, halal/vegetarian food access — these vary by city and CHI Recruiting briefs every worker pre-departure.
For this specific role: Basic English (A2) — language courses available on-site. Most multinational plants run in English on the floor with simplified communication and pictogram safety signs. Free or subsidised on-site language classes are common after month 1.
Processing typically runs 4-8 weeks once your documents are in order (passport, education attestation, police clearance, medical fitness). CHI Recruiting handles the employer-side application; the worker pays government fees (medical, embassy, document chain) which are disclosed transparently up front.
No prior experience is required for this position. Paid on-the-job training runs through your first 2-4 weeks at the plant, after which you operate independently with periodic supervision. Workers from any blue-collar background adapt smoothly.
